Custom blackout shades made from our Kenya Range of 100% polyester fabric with 370 gsm thickness (approx.) are perfect for indoor use. For shades that complement your color scheme, choose between a white or black bottom bar when placing your order. A valance in a matching color can be added to your custom shades. Additionally, the valance can have the shade fabric on it if that is your preference. Made of powder-coated aluminum, the valance is 3.5 * 3.5, and its width is as per the fabric.
For complete coverage, you can opt for side channels. Made of powder-coated aluminum, the side channels wrap the edges allowing the shade to ride freely while in motion. These side channels rule out the possibility of any sunlight escaping into the room. The dimensions of these side channels are 45 mm (width), 27 mm (depth), and the length is as per fabric’s length. Channels longer than 7.5 feet, will be shipped in two equal halves.
All the essential accessories needed to mount the shades are included in the box with the shade. Each box contains fabric roll, metal brackets, powder-coated aluminum bottom bar, screws (4), rawl plugs (4), and installation instructions.

To improve the functionality of our custom black-out shades we give you several options to customize them to suit your needs. To begin with, you can choose between inside and outside mount shades. For inside mount shades, you need to send us your window size and for outside mount shades, we would require your product size.
When placing an order do keep in mind that fabric colors may vary slightly depending on the production batch. Though we strive to provide the customer with all possible hardware needed to instal our roller shades, depending on the construction/ material on which the blinds are to be installed customers might need to use alternate rawl plugs from the ones supplied.
